Ex-BUK Mass Communication HOD Loses Father

Professor Mainasara Kurfi, former Head of the Department of Mass Communication at Bayero University, Kano, has lost his father.

The professor made the announcement on his Facebook page, stating that his father died on Thursday night and that the funeral prayer was scheduled to take place Friday morning in Kurfi, Katsina State.

The post reads in part: “Inna lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi raji’un. With a heavy heart, I share the news that my beloved father passed away on Thursday night.”

He also prayed for forgiveness and mercy upon his father’s soul.
