MAAUN President Applauds Gov. Yusuf for Appointing Dr. Kabiru as Provost SRCOE Kano

The Founder and President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has reacted to the appointment of Dr. Kabiru Ahmad Gwarzo as the new Provost of Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The reaction was contained in a statement signed by Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to journalists in Kano on Thursday.

He stated that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf “deserves to be commended for choosing and appointing the right person to head one of the oldest and most reputable colleges of education in the country.”

Prof. Gwarzo said he had confidence in Dr. Gwarzo’s ability to lead the institution, citing his experience and previous service.

He added: “This appointment marks a significant milestone for the college, as the new Provost is committed to providing quality higher education, which the present administration under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stands for.”

He also described Dr. Gwarzo as “a renowned scholar and seasoned administrator whose wealth of experience will contribute significantly to the administration of the college.”

“On behalf of the management of the MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to felicitate with you on this well-deserved appointment,” Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo said.
