Presidency: Tinubu Working Remotely, Will Be Back After Easter

The Presidency has assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains actively involved in running the country, even while temporarily away in Europe.
In a statement released on Thursday, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the President is working remotely and will return to Nigeria after the Easter celebrations.
“The President left Paris for London over the weekend but has been in constant touch with key government officials. He’s monitoring national developments and giving directives, especially to security agencies on pressing issues,” the statement read.
Onanuga emphasized that President Tinubu’s absence is within the earlier stated timeframe of about two weeks and that his commitment to national duties has not wavered.
“Governance is continuing smoothly under his leadership, and we thank Nigerians for their concern. The President will resume at Aso Villa after the Easter break,” he added.
