Portable Issues Stern Warning After Release From Ilorin Prison, Threatens Legal Action Against Critics

Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to the public in a recent video, following his release from prison. The “Zazoo Zeh” star made headlines after spending a day in custody at the Ilorin Prison in Kwara State, Nigeria.

Portable’s time behind bars came after a legal dispute with Fuji music legend Saheed Osupa. Osupa had filed a police complaint accusing Portable of cyberstalking, criminal defamation, criminal intimidation, and inciting public unrest. The case was later dropped after Osupa decided to withdraw his accusations.

Upon his release, Portable shared a new video where he expressed that he had learned valuable lessons during his time in prison. Despite this, he vowed to use someone as a scapegoat to send a message. He went on to caution netizens, declaring that anyone who posts negative comments about him would face legal consequences. Portable emphasized that he expected positive remarks and urged the public to refrain from making harmful statements about him online.

In his words; “If you defame me, I will write petition against you and you will be arrested”-
