Adenike Taiwo, the wife of a pastor, has spoken candidly about the emotional trauma she endured as a result of her husband’s relationships with multiple women in their church.
In an exclusive interview on Biola Adebayo Ent’s YouTube channel, Adenike detailed her painful experience, revealing that her husband once told her he wanted her dead so he could remarry and move on with his life.
She described how some of his alleged lovers within the congregation harassed and threatened her, even going as far as filing a police petition after she confronted them via text messages.
She said, “One of my husband’s girlfriends from our church wrote a petition against me, and the police invited me, but I refused to honour their invitation, and they threatened me that if I don’t stop sending her messages, they will charge me with defamation of character.
Despite her husband abandoning their home, Adenike said she remained hopeful and kept praying for reconciliation. Now, having endured so much, she says her mission is to help other women trapped in abusive or threatening relationships, urging them to recognize their value and seek the support they need.
