Man Praises Wife’s Strength After Surviving Two Surgeries, 50 Drips During Childbirth

A Nigerian man, Olamide Omoregha, has taken to social media to express deep admiration and gratitude for his wife’s resilience during childbirth.
In a heartfelt post shared on his Facebook page, Omoregha recounted the challenges his wife endured to bring their child into the world. He revealed that she underwent two surgical procedures, which required a total of four major stitches. In addition, she was administered more than 50 drips while hospitalized.
Detailing her ordeal further, Omoregha noted that his wife went several days without sleep or food, surviving for five days without eating or drinking. To make matters worse, she had multiple tubes inserted into her body during the course of her treatment.
His emotional tribute highlighted the strength and sacrifices of women during childbirth, and many social media users joined him in celebrating his wife’s courage and survival.
In his words;
“After the birth of my son on Saturday, my wife went through: 1. 2 Operations in a week 2. Over 50+ drips & injections 3. 3 Different pipes in her body 4. Sleepless nights 5. 4 major stitches on her body 6. No food & water for 5 days 7. Blood transfusions,” he wrote.
“I don’t know what else I can use to appreciate this woman! She survived all! Lord, I thank you.”
