The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) confirmed that no candidate has reached such a score since the implementation of the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) format in 2013, making Afolabi’s accomplishment the highest in this era.
A student at Icons Comprehensive College, located in Ijapo Estate, Akure, Ondo State, Afolabi’s outstanding performance reflects his commitment, discipline, and unwavering drive for academic excellence. His scores — 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Physics, 94 in Chemistry, and 80 in Use of English — highlight his exceptional grasp of both the sciences and language.
